new knowledge
The reading and videos that I saw this week taught me a lot of new things. One major thing that stuck with me was the amount of effort and time and thought that it took to get people to understand the importance of middle school. Your middle level years are one of the most important times of you life. There is so much development during this time, mentally, physically, and emotionally of children this age. I never really thought about how much time would have been spent on fighting for these children and how much convincing and decisions had to be made to give this age group a fair and good experience. All of these people that were fighting for them sacrificed so much time for something that they were so passionate about and I love that they did that. They knew what needed to be done to give middle level students better opportunities and they fought for them.
